Op. Dr. Serkan Hezar was born in 1974 in Manisa and graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 1997.

He completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at SSK Izmir Training and Research Hospital in 2004.

In 2005, he moved to Istanbul and started working at Private Medilife Beylikdüzü Hospital, followed by working as an Orthopedics specialist at Private Büyükçekmece Kolan Hospital.

From 2012 to 2015, he focused on hand and microsurgery, and served as the chief physician at Private Birinci Hospital in 2019. Since 2012, he has been teaching at Üsküdar University and opened his private clinic in 2020.
